Coverage Details and Limitations

Every vehicle protection plan contract will include limitations on your car coverage. Before signing a coverage contract, ensure you understand how your contract’s limitations will affect your vehicle coverage.

Most vehicle protection companies require customers to outwait an “activation” period before their coverage kicks in. Usually, this activation period starts immediately after the vehicle protection contract is signed and ends after a minimum amount of time has passed. In some instances, this activation period may require you to drive your vehicle a set number of miles before activation occurs.
